About The United Lifestylers Coalition the (ULC)
The United Lifestylers Coalition (ULC) is a 501(c)(7) Non-Profit organization specifically chosen to represent the Ethical Non-Monogamy lifestyle. As a 501(c)(7), our focus is on bringing together like-minded individuals through event productions, fostering connections, and providing opportunities for socialization and enjoyment. The ULC operates on a fully volunteer basis, led by highly motivated Lifestyle Influencers and advocates who are dedicated to uniting people and organizing resort takeovers for the community to gather, socialize, and have fun.
ULC Coalition Sponsored Events
The ULC offers the opportunity for other Lifestyle Organizers, Resorts, and Venues to produce event fundraisers in support of the United Lifestylers Coalition and our members. We are committed to utilizing all our marketing and promotional efforts to assist these organizers in creating safe, sex-positive events that support Ethical Non-Monogamy and provide spaces for socializing and gathering.
Understanding a 501(c)(7) Social Organization
In short, a 501(c)(7) social club is funded primarily by its members. These clubs rely on dues, fees, donations, and other funds contributed by their members. While they can receive up to 35% of their gross receipts from non-members, no more than 15% of the gross receipts should come from the use of the club’s facilities or services by the general public. It’s important to note that 501(c)(7) social clubs may also be subject to unrelated business taxable income on certain non-member income and investment income.
The exempt purpose of a 501(c)(7) social club does not necessarily have to be charitable, but it must be social or recreational and non-profitable. Such clubs provide opportunities for fun, relaxation, networking, and other benefits to their members. To qualify as a 501(c)(7) social club, the following requirements must be met:
- The primary purpose and activities of the club must focus on the pleasure and recreation of its members without claiming to provide goods or services to the general public.
- The club’s support should primarily come from membership fees, dues, donations, and assessments, with a limited amount of income from non-membership sources and investment income.
- The club must have a well-defined and limited membership of individuals.
- It must provide its members with opportunities for personal contact and fellowship among one another.
- The club’s earnings should not be used for the private benefit of any particular individual, except for general benefits related to pleasure and recreation for the member body as a whole.
